South-West based Pendragon Sports are one of the new boys in 2010, but team principal Nick Bourne has big ambitions for the team, not just on the sporting side of things but also by developing cycling and participation across the South-West.
Australian sprinter Casey Munro adds to the all British line-up, with a strong emphasis on riders from the teams home area, making the Exeter round a big aim for the team.
Like many of their fellow British teams, Pendragon spent part of the early season racing in warmer climes to much success with Chris Opie winning two stages of the Tour of Libya plus the UCI 1.2 Grand Prix Al Fatah in the same country.
Opie has the experience of racing and winning in Belgium earlier in his career, while Yanto Barker brings a lot of experience to the team having ridden for Great Britain, plus his own clothing brand, Le Col. The 30-year-old left the sport in 2006, but ended up making a racing comeback in The Tour Series last year with Sigma Sport.
