The Tour Series was officially launched in Northwich on Saturday, 18th March, as organisers gathered at Waitrose to meet potential event cyclists. The supermarket, which is situated on London Road, will be directly adjacent to the start/finish line making it the perfect location to really kick-off the event countdown.
Riders in the women's Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series will this year have the chance to fight for the Brother UK Fastest Lap, as the competition is expanded to cover both the men and women's Tour Series events. The Fastest Lap competition has been a part of the men's Tour Series races for the past three seasons, but 2017 will mark the first time that the riders in the women's Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series have had the opportunity to battle for the same honours. The Brother UK Fastest Lap award is awarded to the rider recording the fastest racing lap at each round of The Tour Series during May.

Stevenage will host the final round of the 2017 Tour Series on Bank Holiday Monday, 29th May, building on the success of the town having hosted the 2016 Tour Series and 2015 Women's Tour cycling events.
Stoke-on-Trent will host two major cycling events this summer - giving people the chance to see some of the world's top professional male and female riders in action over the course of two fantastic events in the city centre.
