With this year’s OVO Energy Tour Series fast approaching, we are excited to reveal our sensational new Leaders’ Jerseys designed by Le Col.

Having won the OVO Energy Tour Series with the dominant UK Youth squad in 2013, Le Col founder Yanto Barker knows what Britain’s best teams and riders look for in Leaders’ Jerseys: unparalleled performance.

The Green Leaders’ Jersey, redesigned this year as part of our partnership with OVO Energy, will be worn in towns and cities across the country by the Series leading men’s and women’s team. This year also sees Eisberg sponsor the Sprints Jersey, worn by the rider who amasses the most points in the men’s and women’s competition.

Importantly, Le Col’s jerseys are made from 100% recycled fabric, a first for any professional bike race. Barker said: “As a previous champion of the Tour Series I know how important it is that the Leaders’ Jerseys perform to the highest level.

“Developing a sustainable and recycled fabric for the jerseys has been a long-term project for Le Col and it’s great that SweetSpot share our view on pushing towards environmentally friendly products. Owning our production facility in Italy means we are in full control of the sourcing and manufacturing process from beginning to end with a team of specialists to ensure that the recycled fabric delivers on the performance requirements of professional athletes.”

Will defending champions JLT Condor and Trek-Drops be wearing our spectacular new Le Col/OVO Energy Green Jerseys come our Grand Final on Thursday 31 March?

More than a jersey: Le Col’s creations are made with 100% recycled fabric, a first for any professional bike race. This unique and important step correlates with SweetSpot’s aim of making their races more environmentally sustainable in the coming years.

In 2018, Eisberg will sponsor the Sprints Competition Jersey – Sebastian Mora (Team Raleigh GAC) and Storey Racing’s Ejay Harris claimed these titles last year.

Attention to detail: we love how the Eisberg Sprints Jersey incorporates a cardiogram into its design. The competition leader’s heart-rate will no doubt look similar to this during each round.

Stay tuned to the TourSeries.co.uk in the coming weeks for more information on how to purchase the 2018 Le Col jersey range.
