Entries to the women’s Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series events during May and June close this week, with a bumper field expected for the five race Series.

Entries have been open for several weeks, but will now close at 5pm this Friday (1 May), making this week the last opportunity to lodge team or individual entries for all five events.

The entry form can be found via the British Cycling online entry system here, with a large 50-rider plus field expected for all five events, starting with Round One in Redditch on Tuesday 19 May.

From there riders will race in Motherwell (Tuesday 26 May), Croydon (Tuesday 2 June) and Peterborough (Tuesday 9 June) before the final event in the world-famous city of Bath (Thursday 11 June), with highlights from each race being shown during the ITV4 coverage of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series.

Eight team entries (min. three riders per round) for the Series have already been accepted, plus a number of individual entries, with the possibility of high profile riders such as Olympic Champions Laura Trott and Dani King, Paralympic Champion Dame Sarah Storey, World Champion Katie Archibald and Commonwealth Games medallist Charline Joiner taking part in some, or all of the five events.

A full rider list of all of those riders signed up to the 2015 Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series will be published following the Bank Holiday weekend.
