The 2016 Pearl Izumi Tour Series gets underway tomorrow (Thursday 12 May) in Ramsey, Isle of Man as the best domestic professional teams go head-to-head to be named the UK’s fastest team.

There will be two parts to opening round with a Team Time Trial in the afternoon before the evening’s criterium race, both taking place on the same 1.5-kilometre circuit within Ramsey’s Mooragh Park.

The Team Time Trial will get start at 15:00 with the evening’s circuit race getting underway at 19:30. The race is expected to finish at approximately 20:45.

All the action from the Isle of Man will be shown on ITV4 on Monday 16th May at 19:00 with a repeat of that programme also being shown on Tuesday 17th May at 13:00. As well as being the opening round of this year’s Pearl Izumi Tour Series tomorrow’s action will also be the opening to the 2016 Isle of Man cyclefest.
