Team Raleigh’s Richard Lang came out on top in The Pearl Izumi Tour Series’ first ever sprint race, narrowly beating Greg Mansell.

The non-points scoring Suffolk – Most Active County – Sprint Challenge, held as a part of the Grand Final in Ipswich saw riders from all ten full season Pearl Izumi Tour Series teams in action, plus riders from guest teams Pedal Heaven RT and Wheelbase – Altura – MGD.

Lang came out on top in the four way final over two laps around Ipswich’s 1.2 kilometre circuit, narrowly pipping Mansell on the line in a hotly fought out sprint.

Spin Rotor – Primal – C-Original’s James Williams clinched third, with Kristian House bringing up the rear in the sprint to the line.
