There’s just a month to go until Britain’s leading cycle race Series swings into action for Round One of The Pearl Izumi Tour Series.

Britain’s top domestic teams are gearing up and making their final preparations for The Pearl Izumi Tour Series, the unique, team based town and city centre cycle race Series which enters its fifth season of competition in 2013.

Ten of the UK’s top teams will be in action at all eleven venues, with the identities and squads of those ten teams being revealed via the website later on this month.

Scotland is the perfect stage for Round One, with Fife welcoming the return of the Series to Kirkcaldy for the opening race on Tuesday 14th May before the cobbled climb of the Durham circuit hosts Round Two on Thursday 16th.

Elite cycling then visits Stoke-on-Trent for the first time in 2013 for Round Three ahead of Stage Four of The Tour of Britain in September, and don’t forget The Potteries also plays host to the highly popular sportive, The Tour Ride Stoke-on-Trent on Sunday 1st September, with more details on how to enter here.

As announced this week here, the events at Stoke-on-Trent, Colchester, Woking, Aylsham and Ipswich also include rounds of the Johnson Health Tech Grand Prix Series, where Britain’s top female cyclists will be racing.

Full TV listings for the ITV4 coverage of The Pearl Izumi Tour Series will be posted on an easy to find ‘Television’ section of the website before the end of the month, meaning you won’t miss any of the free-to-view action on ITV4.

Over the final two weeks of April also look out for a multitude of information about this year’s Pearl Izumi Tour Series coming to the new look Pearl Izumi Tour Series website.
