The final round of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series is just one part of the racing activity that is taking place on Jersey this weekend during the Festival of Cycling.

After a day’s break on Saturday, during which amateur riders will ride in the Pearl Izumi Tour Ride coastal sportive, Sunday morning will see the professional back in action, this time in the road racing discipline.

The Pearl Izumi Jersey International Road Race will take in 10-laps of a 14-kilometre circuit, starting and finishing in Gorey, including a King of the Mountains competition on the Le Mont de la Mere St Catherine climb.

All nine Pearl Izumi Tour Series teams will be in action with six rider squads, while an invitational Channel Islands guest team will also compete.

You can find out more details by looking at the brief manual here while a start list will be published on the website on Saturday afternoon.
