The unique team based Pearl Izumi Tour Series enters its final week of competition for 2013, with three events in four days.

Woking, Aylsham and Ipswich host The Pearl Izumi Tour Series, with 40 points still up for grabs thanks to the double-header Grand Final.

Team UK Youth currently lead the way with a 10 point advantage over Team Raleigh, with Madison Genesis a further two points in arrears.

The return to Woking, which alongside Stoke-on-Trent has hosted the Series every year since its inception in 2009, comes on Tuesday 11th June for Round Nine.

The popular Surrey circuit has in the past hosted the Grand Final, and always provides an action packed race, with the penultimate round of the women’s Johnson Health Tech Grand Prix Series raising the curtain on the evening’s racing.  Hannah Barnes and MG Maxifuel currently lead the way in the individual and team standings, but could there still be a final week twist.

Two days later and The Pearl Izumi Tour Series makes its debut in Norfolk as Aylsham hosts Round Ten plus the final of the Johnson Health Tech GP Series.

A full afternoon of festivities will welcome the Series to East Anglia, with the winner of the white Johnson Health Tech jersey to be decided in the first elite race at 5.30pm before the men take to the circuit at 7.30pm.

One night later it’s a Friday night spectacular in Ipswich as Britain’s leading televised cycle race Series reaches its Grand Final.

In addition to a full programme of support races and activities, there will also be three chances to see the elite men in action.

First up comes the Round 11 Team Time Trial, a full points scoring round of The Pearl Izumi Tour Series that will see all ten of the teams racing for the fastest time over two laps in their five rider line-ups.

Before the final criterium the new Suffolk – Most Active County – Sprint Challenge will entertain the crowds and provide a new feature for the Series.

Finally at 7.30pm the teams return to the circuit for the Round 11 Circuit Race and the final battle for points.

With 20 points to be won in Ipswich, the final afternoon and evening of racing is sure to be packed with action and excitement.

Highlights of the Woking event are on ITV4 at 10pm on Wednesday 12th June with a repeat at 12.50 on the afternoon of Thursday 13th.
