Full results from Round 5 of the Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series in Croydon with Drops Cycling trying to maintain their lead at the top of the team standings going into the final round.

Drops Cycling secured back-to-back team wins in the Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series to make sure they go into the final round in Portsmouth leading the way in the overall standings.

Alice Barnes followed up her individual win in Stevenage last night with a second place finish, which combined with a sixth place finish for Rebecca Durrell and an eleventh place finish for Jennifer George ensured they won the team competition.

In the individual competition it was Podium Ambition’s Grace Garner who was the winner on the night as she got the better of a bunch sprint finish.

Joining Garner and Barnes in the individual top three was Nikki Juniper (Team Ford EcoBoost).

There was further success for Team Ford EcoBoost and Nikki Juniper as she stormed to the Chain Reactions Cycles Points competition win on the night to extend her overall lead at the top of those standings.
