Full results from Round Nine of the 2016 Pearl Izumi Tour Series in Croydon as the teams fight to get themselves in the best position possible going into the final round later this week.

Defending champions Madison Genesis picked up their second team win of the 2016 Pearl Izumi Tour Series here in Croydon as they closed the gap on JLT Condor at the top of the overall team standings.

Tom Stewart was the best placed rider for Madison Genesis as he came across the line in second but it was the fact they had 4 riders all placing in the top 12 that secured them the team win.

In the individual competition it was a very familiar story as Jon Mould (JLT Condor) stormed across the line in first place in a hotly contested bunch sprint. That was his sixth individual victory in 2016 alone.

Rounding out the individual podium was NFTO’s Johnny McEvoy who finished third, just one tenth of a second behind Mould.

In the Chain Reaction Cycles Points competition Team Raleigh GAC’s Sebastian Mora was the winner on the night but that wasn’t enough to knock Rory Townsend (Pedal Heaven) off the top of the overall standings.

The Brother Fastest Lap was set by JLT Condor’s Graham Briggs on the final lap of the night as he set up Mould for individual victory.

Pearl Izumi Tour Series standings after Croydon:

1) JLT Condor, 92 pts
2) Madison Genesis, 85 pts
3) Team Raleigh GAC, 79 pts
4) Pedal Heaven, 79 pts
5) NFTO, 64 pts
6) Team Wiggins, 10 pts
