Rapha Condor JLT take the honours as The Pearl Izumi Tour Series gets underway in Stoke-on-Trent.

Edited – Great Britain reinstated at third place in opening Team Time Trial

The men in black repeated their team time trial win of 2012 in Stoke-on-Trent, narrowly beating Series debutants NFTO Pro Cycling by two tenths of a second around the technical city centre course.

Starting seventh of the nine full season teams, after Great Britain were confirmed as a late addition to the Pearl Izumi Tour Series, Rapha Condor JLT stormed around the circuit, leading at the one lap split and at the conclusion of two laps.

Second were NFTO on their debuts, followed by Great Britain, Node4 Velosure, with Team Raleigh also breaking the 3'10 barrier to go fourth.

Madison Genesis and Metaltek Kuota benefited to take sixth and seventh, before Starley Primal edged debutants Pedal Heaven Colbornes in eight place.
