JLT Condor were confirmed as overall team winners of the 2016 Pearl Izumi Tour Series despite Pedal Heaven taking the team victory on the night.

It was an impressive team performance from Pedal Heaven with their top 4 riders finishing in4th, 5th, 10th and 13th to claim that team win.

In truth JLT Condor took such a commanding lead into the final round that they were never really under threat and it was left to Pedal Heaven to clinch the victory and secure third place in the overall standings.

In the individual competition Alex Blain (Madison Genesis) was the first over the line in a bunch sprint followed by his team-mate Felix English and JLT Condor’s Chris Lawless in second and third respectively.

In the Chain Reaction Cycles Points competition Rory Townsend was crowned our overall winner after a fierce battle for the jersey with JLT Condor’s Chris Lawless. Townsend took maximum points in the nights first sprint which proved enough for him to secure the jersey.

In the final Brother Cycling Fastest Lap of the Series JLT Condor’s Alex Frame was the quickest round our Portsmouth circuit in a time of 01:24:25.
