Full results from Round Three of the 2016 Pearl Izumi Tour Series as the teams take on the cobbles of Edinburgh and JLT Condor look to maintain their unbeaten start to this year’s Series.

Last year’s champions Madison Genesis recorded their first victory of the year in Edinburgh as they closed the gap on JLT Condor at the top of the team standings.

It was an all-round team performance from the defending champions as although they didn’t have an individual rider finish on the podium a strong finish from all of their riders saw them take the victory.

JLT Condor did taste success in the individual race once again though as Graham Briggs took the honours after he made a solo breakaway stick and continued to ride away from the rest of the field in a highly impressive performance.

That made it three wins from three in the individual races for JLT Condor, with three different riders topping the podium highlighting the strength of their squad.

Following Briggs over the line was Pedal Heaven’s Rory Townsend in second and JLT Condor’s Chris Lawless in third

That performance from Townsend meant there was a change in the wearer of the Chain Reaction Cycles Points jersey as he stormed to victory in the points competition on the night to overtake last year’s winner Morgan Kneisky at the top of those standings.

There was further success for Pedal Heaven and Rory Townsend as he also recorded the Brother fastest lap with a blistering time of 02:32:73.

Pearl Izumi Tour Series standings following Round 3:

2) Madison Genesis, 35 pts
3) Team Raleigh GAC, 30 pts
4) Pedal Heaven, 29 pts
5) NFTO, 27 pts
