To celebrate the Pearl Izumi Tour Series making its first visit to Stevenage this June, Stevenage Borough Council have teamed up with organisers SweetSpot to give local school children the chance to present a special jersey to the winners of the men and women’s races.

Stevenage will host Round Eight on Monday 6 June, just under a year since the town hosted a finish of the Aviva Women’s Tour last June.

On that day stage winner Lisa Brennauer was presented with a unique jersey designed by a local school child, and this year there will be two chances for a Stevenage pupil to appear on the podium and present a winner with a special jersey.

The competition is open to any child under 16 who lives in, or goes to school in Stevenage with an opportunity to present a jersey based upon their design to the winner of the men’s Pearl Izumi Tour Series race and the winner of the women’s Matrix Fitness GP Series race.

You can download the entry form here which contains templates for both men and women’s jerseys, plus details on what to do with your completed entry once you’ve finished designing!

Good luck to everyone who takes part, and we look forward to seeing the winners on the Stevenage podium on Monday 6 June.

VIP Hospitality is available at every round of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series, giving you the chance to enjoy the evening in style with a first-class view of the finish line at every venue.  Click on the image below to find details of the packages available, starting from just £48.
