As we head into the final two rounds of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series and Matrix Fitness Grand Prix we take a quick look back at the series so far with a short video.

As we round the corner into the final week, both the elite men and women are faced with the fast but familiar circuit of Peterborough (Tuesday, 9 June) before heading off to the city of Bath (Thursday, 11 June) for a grand finale on a course that loops around the cobbles of the Royal Crescent.

The series long battle between Madison Genesis and ONE Pro Cycling will come to a head this week with Madison Genesis wearing the Pearl Izumi Leaders Jerseys into Rnd 9, currently sitting a mere 1 point above ONE Pro Cycling in the Team standings. With everything to play for expect competitive racing as these two teams battle it out to be crowned Britain’s fastest team.

Nikki Juniper – Team Giordana Triton has been setting The Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series a blaze currently holding, not only the Leaders Jersey but the Points Jersey as well. Nikki  goes into the final two rounds sitting comfortably at the top of the overall leader standings with a whopping 11points between her and 2nd place Jessie Walker (45pts).

In the Team Standings, Pearl Izumi Sports Tours International are currently placed at the top of the table after a dominating team effort in Croydon and will hope to carry through that momentum into the final week with Team Giordana Triton hot on their wheels in 2nd place with only two points separating them.

You can follow the live text updates of both races via our Tour Series Twitter page and watch highlights shown on ITV4 the following night (Peterborough 20:00, Wednesday 10 June) (Bath 20:00, Friday 12 June).
